Shivakhya Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Women’s Empowerment and Child Development Services, organized a workshop on women’s health and hygiene for the Anganwadi workers of Dehradun District. The workshop aimed to educate and empower the participants about the importance of good health and hygiene in their daily lives.The event was graced by the presence of various dignitaries, including Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM, Kalsi) Ms. Varuna Aggarwal, Shri Mathor Singh Block Pramukh, Shri Bhim Singh Chauhan Jyestha Pramukh, Shri Ritesh Aswal Kanishta Pramukh, Block Development Officer, CDPO Mrs Anju, Mrs Sweta Upadhayaya Director Shivakhya Foundation, Mrs Neelu Sharma Operations Manager Shivakhya Foundation and Team.
The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM, Kalsi), commended the collaborative efforts of Shivakhya Foundation and the Department of Women’s Empowerment and Child Development Services in organizing such a valuable workshop. She highlighted the crucial role played by Anganwadi workers in the grassroots implementation of health and welfare programs and expressed her appreciation for their dedication and hard work. The interactive sessions allowed the participants to actively engage and clarify their doubts. Practical demonstrations and informative materials were provided to enhance the learning experience. The workshop also served as a platform for participants to share their experiences and challenges faced in their role as Anganwadi workers.
